Amanda Wagner is an educator, curriculum developer, and lifelong nature enthusiast who believes that learning, curiosity, and community have the power to create meaningful change. Raised in Washington State, she developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors from an early age, spending countless hours exploring forests, mountains, and various bodies of water. She continued to cultivate that love of nature during the 13 years she lived in California with her daughter, where hiking, kayaking, and simply being present outdoors became an integral part of her life.

After moving to Florida, Amanda quickly fell in love with the Santa Fe River and now spends her free time paddleboarding and kayaking its beautiful waters whenever she can. Experiencing the river firsthand has deepened her appreciation for its remarkable beauty, diverse wildlife, and delicate ecosystem, inspiring her to give back through volunteer conservation efforts.

With nearly two decades of experience in education, Amanda has designed engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in learners of all ages. She holds graduate degrees in Learning & Technology, English Language Learning, and Educational Technology & Instructional Design and believes education is one of the most powerful tools for inspiring environmental stewardship. She is dedicated to helping people build meaningful connections with the natural world through education, outreach, and community engagement.



Amanda is proud to support the conservation efforts of Our Santa Fe River, believing that protecting our environment begins with education, collaboration, and communities coming together to safeguard Florida's unique natural resources. She is committed to helping preserve the Santa Fe River so future generations can experience, explore, and cherish its beauty for years to come.
