Origin Story Paddle: Lake Santa Fe

Join us for a morning paddling the headwaters of the Santa Fe River. Lake Santa Fe in Melrose is the origin of the Santa Fe River, where her story begins. If these waters could speak, they would tell a tale of manatees, turtles, springs, cypress, and a human journey that shapes the heart of Florida. Come listen to what the river has to say.

You may want to arrive a little early to make the 10 AM launch time.

Equipment & Logistics

• Bring Your Own:  Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards are all welcome!
• Need a Rental?  You can coordinate a rental through  DJ’s Kayak Rentals
• DJ's rentals in Melrose at  352-451-8550 . They offer a "concierge" service and can deliver/pick up directly at the ramp for a stress-free experience.
• Registration:  Please register for a ticket so we can have an accurate headcount for the group.
