I talked to Jon Dinges on Friday, and he said they arranged this PUBLIC
MEETING about Lily Springs asking for public input. This is a very
important meeting for the citizens in our area and OSFR is asking you
to attend. IF you can miss a few hours of work, it would
be beneficial to do so. Please encourage anyone with facts
(science, road or concurrency issues, direct neighbors) to present their
information to the District.
If you can not attend but want to have a voice in this, I encourage you
to write to Mr. Jon Dinges ( JMD@srwmd.org ), Director of Resource
Management
and remember to cc Mr. David Still, Executive Director, DAS@srwmd.org .
Please be present in this meeting, if possible. OSFR is glad they
are giving us, the public, a chance to discuss this openly as
the Lily Springs people have been invited too.
If you want to receive communications (such as the
one above) from the District about this permit please contact Linda
Welch, welch_l@srwmd.state.fl.us.
Please include WUP09-0017 in your subject header and
tell her in your e-mail you are an "interested person".
